About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring a veterinarian to provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care in Houston, Pasadena, Cloverleaf, Texas, and surrounding areas. The privately and family-owned organization emphasizes professional independence, meaningful medicine, and respect for veterinarians, with no veterinarian non-compete agreements. Veterinarians provide end-of-life care in families’ homes, with support from a team that coordinates appointments, families, and aftercare. Hospice experience is not required; onboarding and support are provided.

The organization offers two-, three-, four-, and five-day opportunities, including self-managed flexible scheduling, with compensation adjusted for the agreed schedule. Four-day positions start at $110,000 annually, and five-day positions offer a $135,000 annual base salary, plus potential quarterly performance-based bonuses. Requirements

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Active North Carolina veterinary license or eligibility.
• Valid driver's license.

• Availability consistent with the position's schedule, including some weekends.
