VENDING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Vending Attendant provides vending products and services at a single location. The role receives deliveries of soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snacks, and sundries; stocks vending machines, coolers, shelves, and racks; removes stale or unsold merchandise; collects money and refills bill and coin changers; and records transactions using an appropriate card or electronic device. The attendant is accountable for cash and product, checks in with existing customers to assess service, prepares food and pastry product orders, informs customers about new products and services, and resolves service complaints. The role also performs routine machine maintenance and sanitation, keeps the storeroom and vending area clean, sets up merchandise and promotional displays or distributes promotional materials, and performs other assigned duties. This is a full-time position at Visa, 12301 Research Boulevard, Buildings 3 and 4, Austin, Texas. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with evening and weekend availability required. The fixed pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Previous front-of-house experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries of soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items, and sundries at the customer's place of business.
- Stock shelves, racks, vending machines, and coolers; collect stale, rejected, or unsold merchandise.
- Collect money from machines and refill bill and coin changers.
- Record transactions using the appropriate card or electronic device.
- Remain accountable for cash and product.
- Contact existing customers to determine whether service is adequate.
- Prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
- Inform regular customers about new products or services.
- Listen to and resolve service complaints.
- Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines, and maintain a clean storeroom and vending area.
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or provide promotional materials to customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
