VENDING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)

About The Position
Provides vending products and services at a single location. Receives and stocks merchandise, collects money from vending machines, makes change, and maintains vending machines and the vending area. The position is full time, Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. The fixed pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Previous food service experience is required.

- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries of soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items, and sundries at the customer's place of business.
- Stock shelves or racks in vending machines and coolers; collect stale, rejected, or unsold merchandise; collect money from machines; and refill bill and coin changers.
- Record transactions using the appropriate card or electronic device.
- Remain accountable for cash and product.
- Contact existing customers to determine whether service is adequate.
- Prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
- Inform regular customers about new products or services.
- Listen to and resolve service complaints.
- Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines, and maintain a clean storeroom and vending area.
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or provide sales promotion materials to customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
