About The Position
The Vending Attendant provides vending products and services at a single customer location. The role receives deliveries, stocks vending machines and coolers, collects merchandise and cash, maintains transaction records, and keeps vending equipment and areas clean and serviceable. The attendant also supports customers by checking that service is adequate, sharing information about products, handling complaints, preparing orders, and setting up promotional displays.
Requirements
- Previous driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries of soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items, and sundries at the customer's place of business.
- Stock shelves or racks in vending machines and coolers.
- Collect stale, rejected, or unsold merchandise.
- Collect money from machines and refill bill and coin changers.
- Record transactions using the appropriate card or electronic device.
- Remain accountable for cash and product.
- Call on existing customers to determine whether service is adequate.
- Prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
- Inform regular customers about new products or services.
- Listen to and resolve service complaints.
- Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines, and maintain a clean storeroom and vending area.
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or provide promotional materials to customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
