VENDING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Provides vending products and services at a single location. Receives deliveries of beverages, bakery products, specialty foods, snacks, and sundries; stocks vending machines, coolers, shelves, or racks; collects stale, rejected, or unsold merchandise; collects money and refills bill and coin changers; and records transactions using an appropriate card or electronic device. The attendant is accountable for cash and products, checks with existing customers about service adequacy, prepares food and pastry product order forms, informs customers about new products or services, and listens to and resolves service complaints. The role also includes routine machine maintenance and sanitation, maintaining clean storeroom and vending areas, and setting up merchandise or sales-promotion displays. Other duties may be assigned. This is a full-time position at the Applied Intuition Pantry in Sunnyvale, California. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary; some evenings and weekends are required. Food service experience is required. The stated pay range is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries of beverages, bakery products, specialty foods, snacks, and sundries at the customer's place of business.
- Stock vending machines, coolers, shelves, or racks and collect stale, rejected, or unsold merchandise.
- Collect money from machines and refill bill and coin changers.
- Record transactions using the appropriate card or electronic device.
- Maintain accountability for cash and products.
- Contact existing customers to determine whether service is adequate.
- Prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
- Inform regular customers about new products or services.
- Listen to and resolve service complaints.
- Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of vending machines.
- Maintain a clean storeroom and vending area.
- Set up merchandise and sales-promotion displays or provide promotional materials to customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
