About The Position
Henley Companies, the largest franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change, provides training for this entry-level vehicle service position and does not require prior service-center experience. The role performs oil changes and other basic vehicle maintenance and inspection services while providing customer service. Employees are trained in the services offered and can pursue advancement opportunities within the company. The position pays $19.00 per hour. Most locations close by 7 p.m., so late evenings are not required.
Requirements

- Ability to learn and follow the VIOC SuperPro process for all services.
- Achieve SuperPro certification.
- Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns or questions.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services.
- Inspect vehicles for potential issues or areas requiring attention.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, including tire rotations and fluid level checks.
- Keep track of inventory and ensure supplies are available.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Inspect and replace vehicle lights and wipers.
- Check fluid levels and add fluids when necessary.
- Inspect or replace engine air filters and cabin air filters.
- Add the correct amount of oil based on vehicle make and model specifications.
- Remove, rotate, lift, and reinstall tires for tire rotation service.
- Lubricate necessary chassis and driveline components.
- Perform additional services on cooling systems and transmissions.
- Complete second checks, visually verifying services and making proper callouts.
- Move between service bays to work on multiple vehicles.
- Communicate verbally to ensure services are performed accurately, safely, and in the proper order.
