About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Vascular Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. This is a mobile practice serving facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time or part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians must commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The posting states that W-2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, and gives a salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
