About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Bariatric Surgeon to provide bedside wound care in post-acute settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules, with no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time schedules are 4–5 weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday, while part-time work requires at least 3 weekdays per week. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week; the listed salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
