Vascular Surgeon - Fredericksburg, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Vascular Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules, with no nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time work is 4–5 weekdays per week; part-time work is at least 3 weekdays per week. The posting describes a Monday–Friday schedule and lists typical full-time hours as 7 a.m.–4 p.m. Physicians receive paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship. The position is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
