About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Bariatric Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time work Monday through Friday, with schedules described as 7 am–4 pm and 4–5 days per week. Part-time opportunities are also available, requiring at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, calls, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn $200,000–$350,000 per year; the posting says physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year for a 30-hour work week, plus benefits. No work visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
