General Surgeon - Fredericksburg, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a General Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. The role offers full-time work four to five days per week, generally Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time opportunities are also available with a minimum commitment of three weekdays per week. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians document care in real time using the company’s proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
- Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
