Plastic Surgeon - Fredericksburg, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Plastic Surgeon to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The full-time schedule is 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with stated hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Part-time opportunities are available for a minimum of 3 days per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The role is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
