Variable Schedule Team Member

DoorDash•Miami, FL
•Onsite

About The Position

DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash. Team members fulfill customer orders in a brick-and-mortar store so Dashers can deliver household essentials, groceries, retail items, and prepared foods. Sites operate from early morning until late at night, and some are open 24/7. Variable Schedule Operations Associates work one scheduled shift every two weeks and may pick up additional open shifts through the scheduling app. Open shifts are posted based on business needs and may become available in advance or at short notice. Associates are expected to work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting at least four hours. Two shifts per month are scheduled to help meet this requirement and provide time to review process or tooling changes and stay connected with Site Leadership, including the supervisor. Reliability and communication are important: associates are expected to arrive on time, complete shifts they accept, and meet performance expectations. New team members complete DashMart onboarding and initial training, followed by one four-hour on-the-job training shift within 14 days. After training, they can choose shifts based on business needs and their availability. The role involves picking and packing orders, managing inventory and spoilage, organizing the warehouse, and helping ensure customer-approved substitutions. The position is part-time and offers morning, day, evening, weekend, and overnight shift opportunities. Base pay is $16.15 per hour. A $2-per-hour premium applies during 10 p.m.–6 a.m.; a separate $2-per-hour premium applies to Flex shifts picked up within 24 hours of need.
