About The Position

DashMart is a DoorDash-owned local-fulfillment center where team members fulfill convenience, grocery, retail, and prepared-food orders in a physical store for Dashers to deliver. Variable Schedule Operations Associates work one regularly scheduled shift every two weeks and can pick up additional open shifts through the scheduling app, depending on business needs. Shifts may be posted in advance or arise at short notice, and openings may be posted as frequently as weekly. Associates are expected to work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting a minimum of four hours; two shifts per month are scheduled to help meet this requirement. These shifts also provide time to review process and tooling changes and stay connected with Site Leadership, including the supervisor. Reliable attendance, punctuality, completing accepted shifts, and meeting performance expectations are required. New team members complete DashMart onboarding and initial training in one shift, followed by one four-hour on-the-job training shift within 14 days. After training, associates can choose available shifts according to business needs and their schedules. Available work may include morning, day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts; some DashMart locations operate 24/7.

Requirements

• Be reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
• Have experience in grocery, food service, or warehouse operations.
• Be detail-oriented and passionate about fresh food quality and safety.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated areas, with or without accommodation.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work at least one shift every two weeks, with a minimum of four hours per shift.
• Show up on time and complete shifts that are picked up.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders received through the app, pack them, and hand them off to Dashers.
• Stock receivables and manage inventory, including shelf life and spoilage.
• Clean and organize the warehouse.
• Ensure customer approval for substitutions.
• Attend scheduled shifts reliably, arrive on time, complete accepted shifts, and meet performance expectations.
• Complete onboarding and initial training, including a four-hour on-the-job training shift within 14 days.
• Use scheduled shifts to review relevant process and company-provided tooling changes and stay connected with Site Leadership.
