About The Position

DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash. Team members fulfill customers’ convenience, grocery, retail, and prepared-food orders in a physical store for Dashers to deliver. Sites operate across morning, day, evening, and overnight hours, and some are open 24/7. The Variable Schedule Operations Associate works one regularly scheduled shift every two weeks and may pick up additional open shifts through the scheduling app as business needs and personal availability allow. Associates are expected to work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting a minimum of four hours. Two shifts per month are scheduled to help meet this requirement and provide time to review process or tooling changes and connect with Site Leadership. After one onboarding and initial-training shift and one four-hour on-the-job training shift, which must be completed within 14 days, associates can begin choosing shifts based on business needs and their schedules. Reliability, communication, punctuality, and meeting performance expectations are important. The role involves fulfilling and handing off orders, managing inventory and spoilage, organizing the warehouse, and ensuring customer approval for substitutions. The position pays $16.05 per hour, with a $2-per-hour premium for hours worked from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and a $2-per-hour premium for Flex shifts picked up within 24 hours of need. Compensation may depend on skills, relevant experience, and work location. DoorDash describes a benefits package for regular employees that includes a 401(k) with employer matching, paid parental leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, paid time off and sick leave, medical, dental and vision coverage, paid holidays, disability and basic life insurance, family-forming assistance, and a mental health program.
