About The Position

DashMart is a DoorDash-owned and operated local-fulfillment center where team members fulfill convenience, grocery, retail, and prepared-food orders in a brick-and-mortar store for delivery by Dashers. Sites operate from early morning until late, and some run 24/7. This part-time variable-schedule role includes one regularly scheduled shift every two weeks. Associates can pick up additional open shifts through the scheduling app as business needs and availability change. Associates must work at least one shift every two weeks, with a minimum of four hours per shift; two shifts per month are scheduled to support this requirement. These shifts also provide opportunities to review process and tooling updates and stay connected with site leadership and a supervisor. Reliability, communication, punctuality, shift completion, and meeting performance expectations are essential. New hires complete DashMart onboarding and an initial training shift, followed by one four-hour on-the-job training shift within 14 days. After training, associates can choose from available shifts based on business needs and their schedule. Work includes picking and packing app orders, handing orders off to Dashers, stocking and managing inventory and spoilage, organizing and cleaning the warehouse, and ensuring customer approval for substitutions.

Requirements

Reliability, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach.
Experience in grocery, food service, or warehouse operations.
Attention to detail and passion for fresh-food quality and safety.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated areas, with or without accommodation.
High school diploma or GED.
Availability to work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting at least four hours.

Responsibilities

Pick orders received through the app, pack them, and hand them off to Dashers.
Stock receivables and manage inventory, including product shelf life and spoilage.
Clean and organize the warehouse.
Ensure customers approve substitutions.
Show up on time, complete accepted shifts, communicate reliably, and meet performance expectations.
Complete onboarding and training, and stay informed about changes to processes and company-provided tools.
