About The Position

DashMart is a DoorDash-owned and operated local-fulfillment center where team members fulfill customer orders in a physical store for Dashers to deliver. A Variable Schedule Operations Associate works one regularly scheduled shift every two weeks and may pick up additional open shifts through the scheduling app based on business needs. Open shifts may be posted weekly or appear at short notice, through shift swaps, or during peaks in demand. Associates must work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting at least four hours; two shifts per month are scheduled to support this requirement. The scheduled shifts also provide time to review process and tooling updates and stay connected with Site Leadership, including the supervisor. New hires complete DashMart onboarding and an initial training shift, followed by one four-hour on-the-job training shift that must be completed within 14 days. After training, associates can choose shifts based on business needs and their availability. Shifts may be in the morning, during the day, in the evening, overnight, or on weekends. DashMart locations may operate from early morning until late at night, and some sites operate 24/7. The role involves picking and packing app orders, handing orders off to Dashers, stocking receivables, managing inventory and shelf life, cleaning and organizing the warehouse, and ensuring customer approval for substitutions. Associates are expected to be reliable and communicative, arrive on time for accepted shifts, complete each shift, and meet performance expectations. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working in refrigerated areas, with or without accommodation. The listed base pay is $16.15 per hour. A $2-per-hour premium applies during 10 p.m.–6 a.m., and a $2-per-hour premium applies to Flex shifts picked up within 24 hours of need.

Requirements

Be reliable, positive, team-oriented, and communicative.
Arrive on time for picked-up shifts, complete shifts, and meet performance expectations.

Have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Pick orders received through the app, pack them, and hand them off to Dashers.
Stock receivables and manage inventory, including monitoring shelf life.
Clean and organize the warehouse.
Ensure customer approval for substitutions.
