About The Position

DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash. Team members fulfill customer orders in a brick-and-mortar store for Dashers to deliver. This is a part-time, variable-schedule Operations Associate role. Associates have one regularly scheduled shift every two weeks and may pick up additional open shifts through the scheduling app based on business needs and availability. They must work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting at least four hours; two shifts per month are scheduled to help meet this requirement. Associates are expected to reliably attend and complete any shift they accept while meeting performance expectations. The role begins with one onboarding and initial-training shift and one four-hour on-the-job training shift, which must be completed within 14 days. After training, associates can choose available shifts based on business needs and their schedules. Shift options may include morning, day, evening, weekend, and overnight hours. Responsibilities include picking and packing app orders and handing them off to Dashers; stocking receivables and managing inventory and shelf life; cleaning and organizing the warehouse; and ensuring customer approval for substitutions. The role requires attention to fresh-food quality and safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated areas, with or without accommodation.

Requirements

Be reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
Have experience in grocery, food service, or warehouse operations.

Have a high school diploma or GED.
Work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting at least four hours.

Responsibilities

Pick orders received through the app, pack them, and hand them off to Dashers.
Stock receivables and manage inventory, including product shelf life.
Clean and organize the warehouse.
Ensure substitutions are approved by the customer.
Attend accepted shifts on time and complete them while meeting performance expectations.
Complete onboarding and initial training, including a four-hour on-the-job training shift within 14 days.
