About The Position

DoorDash’s DashMart is a local-fulfillment center where team members fulfill convenience, grocery, retail, and prepared-food orders for delivery by Dashers. As a Variable Schedule Operations Associate, you work one regularly scheduled shift every two weeks and may select additional open shifts through the scheduling app as they become available, sometimes at short notice according to business needs. You must work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting at least four hours; two shifts per month are scheduled to help meet this requirement. When accepting a shift, you are expected to arrive on time, complete the shift, communicate reliably, and meet performance expectations. New team members complete DashMart onboarding and initial training in one shift, followed by one four-hour on-the-job training shift that must be completed within 14 days. After training, you can choose shifts based on business needs and your availability. The work includes fulfilling app orders, maintaining inventory and warehouse organization, and helping ensure customers receive the right products and approved substitutions. Shifts may include mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and overnight hours; some DashMart sites operate 24/7.

Requirements

Reliability, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach.
Experience in grocery, food service, or warehouse operations.
Attention to detail and a commitment to fresh-food quality and safety.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated areas, with or without accommodation.
High school diploma or GED.
Work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting at least four hours.
Complete one four-hour on-the-job training shift within 14 days.

Responsibilities

Pick orders received through the app, pack them, and hand them off to Dashers.
Stock receivables and manage inventory, including product shelf life and spoilage.
Clean and organize the warehouse.
Ensure substitutions are approved by the customer.
Attend onboarding and initial training, and complete a four-hour on-the-job training shift within 14 days.
Show up on time and complete accepted shifts while meeting performance expectations.
Review relevant process and company-tooling changes during scheduled shifts and stay connected with the Site Leadership Team.
