Variable Schedule Team Member
About The Position
DashMart is a DoorDash-owned and operated local-fulfillment center where team members fulfill convenience, grocery, retail, and prepared-food orders in a physical store for delivery by Dashers. Sites operate from early morning to late evening, and some operate 24/7. This part-time variable-schedule role includes one regularly scheduled shift every two weeks; associates are scheduled for two shifts per month to meet that requirement. Associates can also pick up open shifts through the scheduling app. Open shifts may be posted as often as weekly, depending on business needs, and additional shifts may become available through shift swaps or increased demand. Each required shift must last at least four hours. Once a shift is accepted, team members are expected to arrive on time, complete the shift, communicate reliably, and meet performance expectations. New team members complete DashMart onboarding and initial training in one shift, followed by one four-hour on-the-job training shift within 14 days. After training, they can choose available shifts based on business needs and their schedules. Available shifts may include morning, day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. The role involves picking and packing app orders for handoff to Dashers, managing stock and inventory freshness, organizing and cleaning the warehouse, and ensuring customers approve substitutions. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated areas, with or without accommodation.
Requirements
- Be reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
- Experience in grocery, food service, or warehouse operations.
- Be detail-oriented and care about fresh-food quality and safety.

- High school diploma or GED.
- Work at least one shift every two weeks, with each shift lasting at least four hours.
- Complete one four-hour on-the-job training shift within 14 days.
Responsibilities
- Pick orders placed through the app, pack them, and hand them off to Dashers.
- Stock receivables and manage inventory, including shelf life and spoilage.
- Clean and organize the warehouse.
- Ensure customers approve substitutions.
- Attend scheduled shifts reliably, arrive on time, complete each shift, and meet performance expectations.
- Complete onboarding and training, and stay informed about process and company-tooling changes.
