About The Position

DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash. Team members fulfill customer orders in a physical store for Dashers to deliver. As a Flex Operations Associate, you pick up available shifts through the scheduling app based on your availability and business needs rather than working a fixed weekly schedule. Schedules are posted weekly, and shifts may also become available through swaps or demand peaks. You must work at least one shift of at least four hours every four weeks and stay in contact with the Site Leadership Team. When you accept a shift, you are expected to arrive on time and ready to work. New team members complete two DashMart onboarding shifts and one four-hour training shift within 14 days. After training, they may choose shifts that fit their schedule. Work includes picking and packing orders, handing orders to drivers, managing stock and inventory, monitoring shelf life, organizing and cleaning the warehouse, and ensuring customer-approved substitutions. The role offers morning, day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. The posting lists base pay of $18 per hour and states that shifts worked from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. receive a $2 pay increase. Actual compensation may depend on skills, relevant experience, and work location.

Requirements

Be reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
Be detail-oriented and passionate about fresh food quality and safety.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated areas, with or without accommodation.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Be willing to complete a Food Handler’s Certification upon hire.
Complete two onboarding shifts and one four-hour training shift within 14 days.

Responsibilities

Pick orders received through the app, pack them, and hand them off to drivers.
Stock receivables and manage inventory, including monitoring shelf life.
Clean and organize the warehouse.
