About The Position

First Tennessee Human Resource Agency (FTHRA) is seeking a full-time van driver for its Regional Public Transportation program. The driver transports clients to appointments, shopping, and other destinations using agency-provided vehicles, including wheelchair lift-equipped vans. The driver provides assistance to clients entering and exiting the vehicle, including those with mobility impairments, and follows safe driving practices and applicable agency, state, and federal requirements. The role also includes maintaining accurate schedules and records, collecting fares, inspecting and cleaning the van, and attending required training. This is a safety-sensitive position subject to pre-hire and random drug and alcohol testing.
