Van Driver Activity Leader Proctor
About The Position
Under the general supervision of the General Manager - Proctor & Logan Recreation Centers, the Van Driver Activity Leader Proctor will be responsible for transporting youth program participants to activities and special events from neighborhood schools to the Proctor Center after-school program and on field trips. This role involves supervising activities, ensuring the proper use of supplies and equipment, and effective verbal and written communication. The work requires some physical exertion, prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Additionally, the position requires the ability to understand and complete paperwork, operate office equipment, and physically participate with children.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years old to drive the van.
- Ability to learn and implement group management skills and activities for a diverse population.
- Ability to physically participate with children.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to be professional, respectful, accountable, innovative, to follow safety procedures, and be equitable to both internal and external customers.

- Youth experience preferred.
