About The Position

The Utility Steward/Dishwasher helps create memorable guest experiences by keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and serviceware ready for use. The role involves cleaning and organizing kitchen equipment and supplies, maintaining cleanliness, preparing serviceware for banquets and functions, and supporting team performance by training new stewards. The position requires compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness through tasks such as mopping and trash removal.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
