About The Position

Hilton Chicago is seeking an energetic, bright team player to work as a Utility Steward/Dishwasher in a high-volume hotel environment. This role helps keep kitchen and dining areas clean and supports memorable guest experiences through the delivery of Hilton hospitality. The position has a 6 PM–1 AM shift pattern, with open availability required seven days a week, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working as a Utility Steward in a high-volume hotel environment.
• Open availability seven days a week, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate Hilton’s stated values: hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including mopping and removing trash.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards to strengthen team performance.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
