About The Position
The Engineer II helps maintain the physical safety and functionality of Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas. The role responds to guest service calls and team member work orders, performs repairs and maintenance across a range of building systems and trades, carries out preventive maintenance inspections, and documents completed work and issues needing further attention. Responsibilities
- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas.
- Respond quickly to guest service requests and team member work orders.
- Perform repairs and maintenance involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of facilities and equipment and address identified needs.
- Document completed inspections and repairs and flag issues requiring further attention.
