About The Position

The Engineer II maintains the Hotel del Coronado’s physical safety and functionality while helping deliver memorable guest experiences. The role supports hotel facilities across guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas. It responds to service requests, performs repairs and preventive maintenance, and documents completed work and issues needing further attention. AM and PM availability is required, as is availability to work weekends and holidays. Mechanical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas.
• Respond promptly to guest service calls and team member work orders.
• Perform repairs and maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Document completed inspections and repairs, and flag issues requiring further attention.
