About The Position

The Utility Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all public and back-of-house areas to high standards. The role also requires professional, personalized guest service that reflects the company’s K.E.E.P. values: Kindness, Engagement, Empathy, and Positivity. This is an on-call position. Requirements

Ability to work efficiently and independently, collaborate cohesively, and consistently produce quality results.
Basic reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
Ability to communicate with guests, coworkers, and supervisors and understand procedures.
Mental alertness to complete tasks accurately.
Ability to use various equipment.
Ability to lift and/or pull 50 pounds or more.
Ability to work with various chemicals and cleaning equipment.
Ability to read and understand policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, employees, and management about position duties and responsibilities.
Ability to communicate over the radio in English.
Ability to complete standard forms and reports.
Minimum age of 21.

Nice To Haves

High school education preferred.
Six months of housekeeping-related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash, and remove debris from floors.
Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, and urinals using chemicals as directed.
Collect and properly dispose of trash from receptacles and floors.
Collect and properly dispose of empty beer bottles and glasses.
Clean, empty, and wipe ashtrays, and replace missing ashtrays.
Clean slot machines, carousels, stools, gaming tables, and chairs.
Respond immediately to blood-borne calls, broken glass, and wet or dry spills.
Clean, set up, strip, and wax floor surfaces, including polishing or cutting marble.
Clean or shampoo carpets and upholstery, and report repairs needed.
Clean or polish marble, brass, mirrors, glass, light fixtures, and chandeliers.
Clean walls, ceilings, and other areas requiring high cleaning.
Empty trash receptacles and push or pull trash bins weighing 50 pounds or more.
Receive, deliver, and put away inventory.
Clock in and out on time.
Sign equipment, radios, and keys in and out daily, and return each item in good working condition.
Provide positive customer service at all times.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
