About The Position

The Casino Porter maintains the cleanliness of all public areas to high standards and provides professional, personalized guest service consistent with the Company’s brand standards and K.E.E.P. core values: Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity. This is an on-call position. The role requires safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, communication with guests and coworkers, and handling cleaning tasks and equipment responsibly. The position does not earn tips.

Requirements

Ability to work efficiently, independently, and cohesively while consistently producing quality results.
Basic reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
Ability to communicate with guests, coworkers, and supervisors and understand procedures.
Mental alertness to complete tasks accurately.
Ability to work with various chemicals and cleaning equipment.
Ability to lift and/or pull 50 pounds or more.
Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, employees, and management about position duties and responsibilities.
Ability to communicate in English over the radio.
Ability to complete standard forms and reports.
Minimum age requirement of 21.

Nice To Haves

High school education preferred.
Six months of experience in housekeeping-related work preferred.

Responsibilities

Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash, and remove debris from floors.
Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, and urinals using chemicals as directed.
Clean and empty trash receptacles, including pushing and pulling trash bins weighing 50 pounds or more.
Pick up and properly dispose of empty beer bottles and glasses.
Clean, empty, and wipe ashtrays, and replace missing ashtrays.
Clean slot machines, carousels, and stools.
Clean gaming tables and chairs.
Respond immediately to blood-borne calls, broken glass, and wet or dry spills.
Sign out and return keys, radios, and equipment daily, ensuring all items are returned in good working condition.
Provide positive customer service at all times.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
