About The Position

Planned Companies Building Services is hiring a friendly, detail-oriented Porter to provide common-area and bathroom cleaning services at residential and commercial properties. The role helps maintain clean, healthy, and safe environments for tenants, guests, and vendors. The Porter is expected to be polite, respectful, thorough, and observant of additional service needs. The position is on call and pays $28.00 per hour. Locations include San Francisco, Oakland, Alameda, San Mateo, Hayward, Livermore, and Fremont.

Requirements

• Willingness to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently when needed.
• Strong report-writing and clear verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Strip, buff, and wax floors.
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and wash and dry windows.
• Request cleaning supply orders and report breakages and needed repairs.
• Assist building management with projects and other duties as requested.
