About The Position

Planned Companies Building Services is hiring a friendly, detail-oriented Porter to provide common-area and bathroom cleaning services at residential and commercial properties in San Francisco, California. The role helps maintain clean, healthy, and safe spaces for tenants, guests, and vendors. Porters are expected to be polite, respectful, thorough, and observant, and to provide a high level of service. The position is on call and pays $28.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be willing to stand for extended periods.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Have experience in similar roles using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Be able to work both on a team and independently as needed.
• Have strong report-writing and clear verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Strip, buff, and wax floors of various types.
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and wash and dry windows.
• Request cleaning supply orders and report breakages and needed repairs.
• Assist building management with projects and other duties as requested.
