About The Position

Under the supervision of the Used Truck Sales Manager, the Used Truck Salesman is responsible for selling used equipment, generating revenue, and achieving customer satisfaction. The role includes selling used trucks of all varieties in stock, developing and maintaining qualified sales leads and records, gathering business information for pricing, presenting solutions to prospects, preparing accurate used truck appraisals, and helping maintain the Used Truck lot. Other duties may be assigned, and job duties may change based on organizational needs. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Responsibilities

• Sell used trucks of all varieties in stock.
• Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales and prospecting activities.
• Gather and submit detailed business information for pricing, and present solutions to identified prospects.
• Write accurate used truck appraisals.
• Help maintain the Used Truck lot.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
