About The Position

The Express Service Technician performs vehicle maintenance assigned on repair orders in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The role supports customer loyalty by building trust and confidence in AutoNation's care for vehicle safety and reliability. Technicians communicate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors, document completed work, keep up with factory technical bulletins, and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate. Success is measured by targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index results. AutoNation offers factory training, OEM certification support, and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record that is maintained.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred.
• Passion for cars and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
