About The Position

Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Used Car Sales Manager to lead our used vehicle sales team in Downingtown, PA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. This role requires an individual who can manage daily operations, develop sales strategies, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Our used car department is growing and we are looking for a talented individual to help us expand and sell used vehicles!

Requirements

Proven experience as a Used Car Sales Manager or in a similar automotive sales leadership role
Strong knowledge of used car market dynamics and pricing strategies
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable plans
Customer-focused with a commitment to providing outstanding service
Proficiency with dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
3-5 years of previous online purchasing experience required.
Previous auction and dealership selling or marketing experience REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the used car sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities
Maintain excellent knowledge of used car inventory, pricing, and market trends
Train, mentor, and motivate sales staff to deliver outstanding customer service
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
Collaborate with other dealership departments to ensure seamless operations
Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management
Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and industry regulations
Attends local auctions in effort to purchase and stock vehicles in our dealerships
Purchase used vehicles online by utilizing used car sites and forecasting the needs of used vehicle inventory at the dealerships.
Understand market trends and changes to trends in geographic market.
Provide guidance and support to dealership Sales Associates as it relates to purchasing used vehicles.
Appraise used vehicles.
Established personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
Knows and understands equity and values, and is able to explain depreciation.
Maintains a prospect development system of current used vehicle prospects and schedules appointments to appraise and purchase used vehicles.
Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
Other duties as assigned.
