About The Position

The Used Car Manager oversees all aspects of the dealership’s pre-owned vehicle department, with responsibility for profitability, operational efficiency, customer experience, sales, inventory, and team development. The role leads the pre-owned sales team, manages inventory and reconditioning, develops marketing strategies, and works with finance and service teams to streamline operations. It also builds factory relationships to grow the Certified Pre-Owned segment and maintains compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pre-Owned Sales Manager in an automotive dealership setting.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
Expertise in inventory management, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting.
Knowledge of market trends and competitive analysis.
Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and dealership management systems.
