About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physician for a permanent outpatient urgent care position in Lookout Valley, Tennessee, with a multi-site urgent care group operating in North Carolina and Tennessee. The role offers flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and a high-functioning environment focused on patient care.

Physicians treat patients from 6 months of age through adulthood, with a focus on episodic care, physicals, diagnostics, and minor procedures. The clinic uses Experity EMR and provides an on-site CLIA-approved lab and digital X-ray. Additional provider support is added as patient volume increases.

The schedule offers a flexible 3–4 day work week, with block scheduling available. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, and weekends, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine specialty.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• ACLS required.
• DEA required.
• DOT Certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Civil Surgeon designation required or willingness to obtain.
• CAQH registration required.
• Must be eligible for credentialing with major payors.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care visits.
• Perform school, sports, annual, and pre-employment physicals.
• Administer vaccinations.
• Interpret X-rays and lab results.
• Perform minor procedures under local anesthesia.
