About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician for a permanent outpatient urgent care role in Ooltewah, Tennessee, with a multi-site group operating in North Carolina and Tennessee. The position offers flexible scheduling, clinical support, and a focus on patient care. The practice treats patients from six months old through adulthood and provides episodic care, physicals, diagnostics, and minor procedures. On-site services include a CLIA-approved laboratory and digital X-ray. The EMR is Experity, and additional provider support may be added as patient volume increases.

The schedule offers a flexible three- to four-day work week, with block scheduling available. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and weekends, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine specialty.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• At least one year of experience.
• ACLS required.
• DEA required.
• DOT Certification required or willingness to obtain it.
• Civil Surgeon designation required or willingness to obtain it.
• CAQH registration required.
• Must be eligible for credentialing with major payors.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care visits.
• Perform school, sports, annual, and pre-employment physicals.
• Provide vaccinations.
• Interpret X-rays and laboratory results.
• Perform minor procedures under local anesthesia.
