About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a permanent position in an outpatient urgent care setting in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Providers care for patients from 6 months old through adulthood, with a clinical focus on acute illnesses and injuries, physicals, diagnostic services, and minor procedures. The clinic has an on-site CLIA-approved laboratory and digital X-ray services, with additional provider support as patient volume increases.

The schedule is flexible, with a 3–4 day work week and block scheduling available. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, and weekends, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Board certification and applicable state licensure required for the provider's discipline.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain.
• Civil Surgeon designation or willingness to obtain.
• CAQH registration.
• Must be eligible for credentialing with major payors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform school, sports, annual, and pre-employment physicals.
• Administer vaccinations.
• Interpret X-rays and laboratory results.
• Perform minor procedures under local anesthesia.
• Provide episodic care and diagnostic services for patients from 6 months old through adulthood.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and quality care.
