About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a permanent, full-time or part-time role at an established outpatient urgent care practice in Tennessee. The provider will deliver direct patient care in a supportive, well-equipped, paperless clinical environment, without responsibility for private-practice administration. The practice treats a diverse population, including pediatric patients as young as 6 months.

The role offers flexible scheduling, including three- to four-day workweeks and block scheduling options. Full-time providers may work up to 40 hours per week; part-time schedules are flexible and may include evenings and weekends. There are no on-call responsibilities or overnight shifts. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, and weekends, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The clinic has an on-site CLIA-approved laboratory with moderately complex testing capabilities and digital X-ray equipment. Administrative, billing, collections, and office-management responsibilities are handled by the practice.

Requirements

• Be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Tennessee.
• Have pediatric clinical experience.
• For full-time providers, have board certification or board eligibility, as applicable to the provider's discipline.
• For part-time providers, have at least three years of clinical experience in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Hold current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Have active DEA registration.
• Have current DOT certification or be willing to obtain certification.
• Have CAQH registration.
• Demonstrate professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

• Emergency Department experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries requiring urgent care.
• Assess and treat pediatric patients as young as 6 months, as well as adolescent and adult patients.
• Perform annual, sports, school, and pre-employment physicals.
• Administer vaccinations.
• Interpret laboratory results and X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform minor procedures requiring local anesthesia.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Provide efficient, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.
