Permanent | Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner | Northshore, TN
About The Position
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a permanent position in an outpatient urgent care clinic in Northshore, Tennessee. The provider will deliver episodic care and diagnostic services to patients from 6 months old through adulthood, focusing on acute illnesses and injuries, physicals, vaccinations, diagnostics, and minor procedures. The practice has an on-site CLIA-approved laboratory and digital X-ray services, with additional provider support as patient volume increases. The schedule is flexible, with a 3–4 day work week and block scheduling available. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, and weekends, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. The role uses the Experity EMR. Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
- Board certification and applicable state licensure for the provider's discipline.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Active DEA registration.
- Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Civil Surgeon designation or willingness to obtain it.
- CAQH registration.
- Must be eligible for credentialing with major payors.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform school, sports, annual, and pre-employment physicals.
- Administer vaccinations.
- Interpret X-rays and laboratory results.
- Perform minor procedures under local anesthesia.
- Provide episodic care and diagnostic services for patients from 6 months old through adulthood.
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and quality care.
