About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a permanent full-time or part-time role at an established outpatient urgent care practice in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The provider will deliver direct patient care to a diverse population, including pediatric patients as young as 6 months, adolescents, and adults. The practice provides a supportive, well-equipped clinical environment, with administrative, billing, collections, and office-management responsibilities handled by the practice.

The clinic uses electronic medical records in a paperless office and has an on-site CLIA-approved laboratory with moderately complex testing capabilities and digital X-ray equipment. Scheduling options include a three- to four-day workweek and block scheduling. There are no on-call responsibilities or overnight shifts.

Hourly compensation is $55–$61, with monthly bonus opportunities depending on the compensation plan. Requirements

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Tennessee.
• Pediatric clinical experience.
• For full-time providers: board certification or board eligibility, as applicable to the provider’s discipline.
• For part-time providers: at least three years of clinical experience in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• CAQH registration.
• Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Department experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries requiring urgent care.
• Assess and treat pediatric patients as young as 6 months, as well as adolescent and adult patients.
• Perform annual, sports, school, and pre-employment physicals.
• Administer vaccinations.
• Interpret laboratory results and X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform minor procedures requiring local anesthesia.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Provide efficient, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.
