National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Urgent Care Physician to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. The mobile practice uses a proprietary wound-specific electronic medical record for real-time documentation at the point of care. The role offers clinical autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance, with no nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time schedules are 4–5 weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time opportunities require a minimum of 3 weekdays per week. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Physicians learn wound management from wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors and use current wound care technologies and modalities. This is W-2 employment. Work visa sponsorship is not available. W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. The posted salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year.
