About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. This mobile practice offers full-time work, typically four to five days per week, or part-time work of at least three days per week. The stated full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. The group provides paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship. W2 physicians reportedly earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. The listed annual salary range is $200,000–$350,000. No work visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to a minimum of three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
