About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time work, generally 4–5 weekdays per week, or part-time work of at least 3 weekdays per week. The stated full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no nights, call responsibilities, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians reportedly earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week; the listed annual salary range is $200,000–$350,000. No work visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
Commit to working at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
