Family Medicine Physician - Dyer, TN
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Family Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting two to three facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work four to five days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians work a minimum of three days per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
- Commit to working at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities

- Travel to facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
