About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and use modern wound-management modalities and clinical technologies. This is a mobile practice, with visits to facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Physicians typically visit 2–3 facilities and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a listed schedule of 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time physicians work a minimum of 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The role is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
