About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of either 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time opportunities require a minimum of 3 weekdays per week. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Physicians receive wound-management training from wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors and use current wound-care technologies and modalities.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
Commit to working a minimum of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
