About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and visit approximately 2–3 facilities per day, treating about 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time work, typically 4–5 weekdays per week, or part-time work with a minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week. Full-time physicians generally work Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no nights, calls, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The posting states that W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, and lists a salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
