Wound Care Physician - Dyer, TN
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time schedules of 4–5 weekdays per week, typically Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 am–4 pm; part-time opportunities are also available for a minimum of 3 days per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold an active, full, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
