Urgent Care Physician - Dyer, TN
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Urgent Care Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The mobile practice offers a full-time schedule of four to five weekdays per week, Monday through Friday, with stated hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time opportunities require at least three weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. This is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
